Singapore, 25 October 2011 – T32, Singapore’s largest all-in-one private dental centre, today announced its collaboration with Dental Implant & Maxillofacial Centre (DIMFC), Hong Kong, a leading dental centre based in Hong Kong with a professional team of experts from China and Hong Kong. The partnership combines cross-trainings as well as a wider dental network for patients across Asia in order to deliver better standards of care, technology and an organised network to patients and communities.

“Together with Dental Implant & Maxillofacial Centre, T32 offers a unique approach and is on the cutting edge of bringing this type of dental care to meet the needs of our patients as well as strengthen dental standards across Asia Pacific,” said Dr Wong Keng Mun, Managing Director, T32 Dental Centre. “This will support our long-standing commitment to dental excellence in the care we provide our community, while widening our network of expertise and talents across the region.”

Patients who utilise this new network collaboration will benefit from ad hoc treatment while travelling overseas, as well as higher qualifications and skills amongst the T32-DIMFC dentists. Through the partnership agreement, both T32 and DIMFC staff will be sent on secondment on a regular basis in order to attain advanced training at the T32 Dental Academy or at DIMFC.

Everyone from the nurses and ceramists to the dentists themselves will improve knowledge and skills, especially in the area of implantology with the launch of the T32 Dental Implant Centre at its facility in Camden Medical Centre. The facility is designed to provide specialty dental implant and reconstructive services along with comprehensive dentistry services for patients with its state-of-the-art facilities and technology.

The Implant Centre, with an investment of about SGD $1 million, boasts the latest technology in both equipment and software, including SimPlant implant planning software and the latest Nobel Clinician, allowing dentists at T32 to utilise this new guided implant process to provide the highest treatment standard to patients. CT Scan technology and more recently, new Cone Beam types of scanning devices provide levels of accuracy and precision data collection that enable digital mapping and Virtual Treatment Planning.

“Technology has changed the way implant surgery is conducted today,” said Dr Ang Chee Wan, Clinical Director of the T32 Specialist Division. “We want to be at the forefront of this technology through our new Dental Implant Centre and provide this full suite of expertise, knowledge and benefits to our partner and ultimately, our patients.”

Dr James Chow, Founder and Clinical Director of Dental Implant & Maxillofacial Centre and the pioneer in Asia for immediate dental implant loading, Zygomatic implants, guided and navigational surgery, said: “Dental practices that have the full complement of technologies for Virtual Treatment Planning and Implant Guides (SimPlant and Nobel Clinician) are able to assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans to incorporate the best advantages, especially important in specific patient groups.”

Dr Ang added, “With the investment in technology, the T32 Dental Implant Centre can achieve the entire process of assessment, treatment planning and selection of implant devices and final restoration products virtually before treatment even begins.”

“The partnership with DIMFC and the launch of the T32 Dental Implant Centre are significant milestones for us,” stated Dr Wong. “We will continue to embrace the best partners and latest technologies so that all our patients from Singapore and abroad can rest assured that they are getting the best in product as well as service from our highly capable dental specialists.”
