Dr Samuel Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, Dr Tan served in Woodlands and Hougang polyclinic, providing preventive and restorative care to patients. He subsequently worked at the Health Promotion Board and School Dental Service, where he gained experience managing common dental issues patients face in pre-schooling to teenage years.
Dr Tan has also served stints in National University Centre for Oral Health and Woodlands Health Campus, where he was privileged to train under the supervision of specialists in advanced general dentistry, hospital dentistry and children’s and adults’ dental emergencies. He also was a recipient of the Incredible Care Service Award while in NUCOH.
Dr Tan believes in effective communication with patients and to have patients involved and informed in the dental care they receive.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Tan enjoys dabbling in art and tries his best to keep fit.
